Akima has appointed Chris Jenkins as the president of its Construction and Security Solutions Group. In this position, Jenkins will concentrate on achieving growth objectives and broadening Akima’s reach into new markets, customers and opportunities.

Before this role, Jenkins was the chief administrative officer at Akima, overseeing daily operations, strategies, and policies across Akima’s portfolio of companies. He joined Akima in 2006, holding various positions during his tenure, including president of SAVA Workforce Solutions. Jenkins brings over 30 years of experience in government and civilian leadership.
Jenkins started his career in the U.S. Army, taking on several law enforcement roles such as military police, field forensic computer examiner, special agent, operations officer and special agent-in-charge.
