    Top Public Sector Leaders to Watch in 2024: Accenture Federal Services’ Brian Hobbs

    Brian Hobbs became Accenture Federal Services’ business development lead on Dec. 1, and is thrilled to assume this role after serving as business development lead for the company’s National Security Portfolio.

    “I see myself as a coach and I recognize growth in the federal arena as a team sport. It’s critical to recognize everyone’s value add,” he said.

    Accenture Federal Services CEO John Goodman said: “Brian has a broad depth of experience in federal contracting. As he steps into his new role, we look forward to his continued leadership in supporting our federal customer base by solving challenges, achieving greater outcomes, and building a digital core that is agile, smart, and secure.”

    Why Watch

    Looking ahead, Hobbs and his team are heavily focused on strengthening the application of emerging technologies to support federal agency customers with generative AI, cyber, cloud services and JADC-2. Hobbs is personally focused on employing standardized best practices across all areas of the federal growth life cycle, as well as getting to know his team on an individual basis.

    “I’m a big believer in celebrating hard work, wins, and teamwork,” Hobbs said. “As a team, we are so much better together. My passion is growing organizations and developing talent. I’m excited about the opportunity to do more of this in my new role.”
