Stephanie Mango
President, CGI Federal
Stephanie Mango leads CGI’s U.S. Federal subsidiary and has committed her career to serving federal clients, inspired by her passion for the various missions of government organizations that serve U.S. residents. She often tells her team members their work matters, and they should do it well. Mango is active in industry associations, working with other groups to identify ways for agencies to more efficiently and effectively fulfill their missions.
In 2023, CGI’s team successfully implemented its comprehensive financial and acquisition management system, Momentum, at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Working with the VA, CGI rolled out the system in six new VA divisions, streamlined and automated processes and set up ongoing updates to improve the system’s capabilities. This project enhances care and services for veterans and their families by improving data quality and availability for decision-making, simplifying business processes and cutting costs.
In late 2023, CGI expanded its collaboration with the U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Command in managing the Marine Corps Platform Integration Center, which handles and deploys resources quickly for missions. CGI conducted a pilot project in a large-scale Metaverse setting, combining logistics and asset management systems with digital twins in a simulated world. This pilot showed how the Marine Corps can gain advanced improvements using world-class technology.
CGI is committed to creating a collaborative and inclusive environment, aimed at attracting, retaining and mentoring diverse talent from different backgrounds. Under Mango’s leadership, CGI strengthened its partnership with Veteran Jobs Mission to assist service members in their transition to civilian life. Additionally, CGI has formed or improved partnerships with Per Scholas, an organization focusing on training underrepresented groups in technology, and Melwood, which offers job opportunities to people with disabilities.

Federal leaders have many opportunities to refine the processes and technologies they use to enhance service quality and modernize experiences, Mango said.
