As president and CEO, Richard Pineda leads the employee-owned company in its ongoing transformation. It combines CALIBRE’s established capabilities with new, innovative elements from the company’s Technology Roadmap to address client missions.

A big achievement is CALIBRE’s Technology Roadmap wherein the company has and will continue to develop new capabilities/solutions and remain on the forefront of technology.

“My ultimate vision and long-term goal are to scale company growth, build careers, and perpetuate the future success of our employee-owners,” Pineda said.

Staying true to CALIBRE’s motto”Our Success Follows Yours,” Pineda is proud of the company’s national recognition as a 2023 Top Workplaces Recipient, and as a 2023 Champion for Accountability by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and Community Foundation for Northern Virginia for its commitment to DEI.

“I balance my duties as CALIBRE’s CEO and proudly serve our industry and community as a member of the Boards of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Northern Virginia Technology Council, Professional Services Council, Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, and Laurel Grove School Museum Association,” he said.

Fun Fact: Pineda is an adrenaline junkie. As a hobby, he races cars. He loves pushing himself to the limit in everything motorsports. The sport brings together camaraderie, teamwork and competition — all things Pineda enjoys. “In a sense, just like Government Contracting, just a whole lot faster,” he said.
