    Mike Kahn, CAES

    Mike Kahn

    President & CEO, CAES

Over the past year, Mike Kahn is most proud of the CAES team’s development, becoming more self-reliant and empowered to drive customer satisfaction. Employees look for ways to better meet tomorrow’s challenges today and build trust with each other. Customers appreciate CAES being more outward-focused, dependable and demonstrating similar values.

These types of cultural changes don’t occur overnight and take dedicated leadership and personal commitment from the entire team. CAES’ journey over the past few years has been remarkable, and Kahn said he couldn’t be more proud to see employees and customers notice the change and benefit from the progress.

“Nothing is more gratifying as a leader to see your team be successful and deliver to our customers,” he said. “My thanks go out to our great CAES team and the trust of our customers, as we take each day as an opportunity to further improve and make a difference to those who serve our country.”

    Why Watch

As the nation faces new challenges and threats, CAES’ mission is to stay one step ahead. The company aims to be prepared to support its customers’ immediate needs through rapid technology integration, remaining agile and flexible to new requirements and being a reliable partner. CAES designs, engineers and manufactures products that deliver advanced RF solutions for land, sea, air and space applications, and it does so with passion and quality.

Fun Fact: Kahn said he always enjoyed an outdoor adventure. “In my younger years, I canoed 200 miles up the Yukon River, backpacked several of the 11,000-foot peaks out west and fished for piranhas in the Amazon,” he said. “These days I stick to skiing, day hikes, some golf, and navigating D.C. traffic.”
