Science Applications International Corp. will provide IT services on the Department of Veterans Affairs’ contracting vehicle, Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation Two.
“SAIC is ready to deliver best-in-class innovation and modernization in support of our nation’s heroes, the veteran community,” said Vishal Tulsian, senior vice president of health, state and local, and federal financials at SAIC.
“We will continue to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in their pursuit of innovative IT services including highly secure and adaptable IT infrastructure, systems engineering, secure application development and customer support and training.”
Under the contract, selected companies will compete for task orders to provide a full range of IT services across 11 technical functional areas to support the VA and other federal agencies.
SAIC will serve as a prime contractor on the first position. On the second, SAIC will be a contractor in the joint venture with Higher Echelon, which is in a mentor-protégé program with SAIC.
SAIC supported the VA’s previous contracting vehicle and executed 16 task orders valued at roughly $935 million to date, the company said.
