Enlightenment Capital has unveiled the Auria platform, a solutions and software provider supporting complex space operations and space domain cyber missions of public and private sector federal, international and commercial customers.
Auria is the result of merging four companies acquired in the space and national security sectors: Boecore, Ascension Engineering Group, Orbit Logic and La Jolla Logic. Each of these companies contributes unique technical skills and established customer relationships.
“The combined business has the scale and technical depth to deliver innovative and cutting-edge solutions that solve our customers’ most challenging problems,” said Auria President Tom Dickson. “The growth we’ve experienced has had a positive impact on our customers, while also creating opportunities for our employees to further enhance their career. We are tremendously excited about where we can take this platform.”
The companies were each outstanding businesses before they merged, said Thomas Young, principal at Enlightenment Capital.
“Together, Auria is a company of scale with the technology, capabilities, and infrastructure of a mid-tier contractor bringing innovation to the Space sector,” he said. “We look forward to working with the combined team and driving the enterprise’s growth as it continues to support the most critical needs of its customers.”
The merging of these businesses “demonstrates our commitment to strategic M&A in order to broaden our customer base, expand capabilities, and drive innovation in support of the fast-changing Space mission,” said Jason Rigoli, partner at Enlightenment Capital and chairman of Auria.
“Combining complementary technology and capabilities across the business will enable the company to better support the complex missions of our Space and National Security customers,” he added.
