Gail Hogan is set to retire as Noblis’ vice president and chief information officer on April 5, after 44 years with the company.

Noblis is looking for a new CIO, considering both internal and external applicants. Hogan will help choose her successor and continue her duties until she retires, the company announced.

“Gail has been a driving force at Noblis,” said Noblis President and CEO Mile Corrigan. “Together with her team, she’s built a highly resilient and secure enterprise infrastructure and delivered transformational IT services that have lasting impacts on Noblis missions and those of our customers,” I want to thank her for her many years of service and leadership and her significant contributions to help Noblis evolve into the science and technology organization it is today.”

Hogan started her career at MITRE, the parent company of Noblis, in the publications and graphics division. She soon transitioned into IT automation and systems administration. Later, she was chosen to establish the enterprise technical architecture at Mitretek, later renamed Noblis in 2007, to support the business and facilitate its growth..

Throughout her time at Noblis, Hogan worked across functional boundaries to deliver IT services and transition enterprise systems to new platforms and services — including the cloud-first strategy that prepared the company for seamless operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
