Brightstar Capital Partners has created a new company called Astrion, dedicated to advancing innovation and supporting customers in the U.S. government’s civilian, defense and space sectors.

Astrion combines Oasis Systems and ERC, two leading government services firms with a 60-year history of commitment, successful outcomes and mission achievement.

Astrion brings together over 2,800 employees across the nation. It actively addresses critical challenges in cybersecurity, digital solutions, mission support and systems engineering for civilian agencies, Air Force, Army, Navy and Space Force.

“Our investment in Astrion’s expanded leadership and services ensures that Astrion not only will continue to deliver innovative solutions, but also substantially expand its Civilian and Defense sector capabilities,” said Michael Singer, partner at Brightstar Capital Partners. “We are confident that Astrion’s agility, ingenuity, and combined experience will drive value with industry-defining results.”

Led by CEO Dave Zolet, Astrion has an experienced executive leadership team from both public and private sectors.(Executive biographies available here.)

Astrion is all about innovation, progress and results, and it’s executive team has a wealth of experience in building successful and impactful teams at a large scale, Zolet said.

“Astrion is a launchpad for bolder, inventive solutions using our unique legacy of experience, innovation and determination to advance our customers’ missions, help them see the unseen, and address tomorrow’s challenges with agility, creativity, and shared vision,” he added.
