Brian Hobbs has been appointed as the business development lead at Accenture Federal Services, starting immediately. In this role, he will oversee sales, deal formation, business development and proposal management.
Hobbs previously was the business development lead for the company’s National Security Portfolio. He joined Accenture Federal Services in 2021 following the acquisition of Novetta, where he was the senior vice president of growth and strategy.
“My passion is growing organizations and developing talent,” Hobbs said. “I’m a big believer in celebrating hard work, wins, and teamwork. I’m excited about the opportunity to do more of this in my new role.”
Hobbs is taking on the role after Michael Fox was named Accenture Federal Services’ chief capture executive, following 10 years as the company’s sales and business development lead.
“Brian has a broad depth of experience in federal contracting,” said John Goodman, CEO of Accenture Federal Services. “As he steps into his new role, we look forward to his continued leadership in supporting our federal customer base by solving challenges, achieving greater outcomes, and building a digital core that is agile, smart, and secure.”
