    CIO & acting CHRO, Peraton

Over the past year, Rebecca McHale and her team achieved Peraton’s IT transformation and internal architecture consolidation in a technically sound way, ensuring a stable and efficient environment. They’ve also secured ISO certification for their service desk software and excelled in a recent industry audit.

But McHale considers her greatest achievement of 2023 to be successfully maintaining a culture of transparency, inclusivity and trust for Peraton’s employees.

“Together, the team and I accomplished four key projects this year: providing a strong technology environment, improving the company’s cybersecurity posture, enhanced employee experience and business processes, and strong strategic and operation execution,” she said. “We commit every day to delivering excellence in our technology, the digital experience and data analytics to empower our employees to produce incredible solutions for our clients and their missions of consequence.”

    Why Watch

McHale and her team will continue to champion improving end-user IT satisfaction by releasing informative podcasts and videos, investing in automation and soliciting, then acting on feedback from end users. As the lines between kinetic and digital warfare become more blurred, her team will continue to adapt to evolving threats, strengthen safeguards and protect data.

“Rebecca McHale is a proven and well-established professional for Peraton,” said Jeremy Wensinger, Peraton chief operating officer. “She’s always thinking strategically about productivity while keeping the mission top of mind – be it employee or customer. As CIO and acting CHRO for Peraton, she has developed a winning formula to set the direction for our IT and talent acquisition, employee management and engagement.”
