Raft has appointed Jeanmarie Brown as chief operating officer to lead operations and programs for the company’s portfolio of clients, products and mission sets.

In this role, she leads the execution of Raft’s strategic plan and daily operations across the functional areas while growing its services of distributed data systems, platforms at scale and application development.

“I am thrilled to be joining an organization that partners with the public sector to make it easy for people to connect with data, which improves the lives of Americans and strengthens our national security posture,” Brown said.

Before joining Raft, Jeanmarie Brown held a senior position at Novetta, managing operations and programs for defense and intelligence clients. She also led operations and performance excellence for IOMAXIS, CACI and ManTech. She is a U.S. Navy veteran and served as the IT director for the Asia-Pacific region.

“Jeanmarie brings leadership and technical expertise at scale, which is precisely what our fast-growing team requires as our defense business develops more complex offerings and helps broader mission sets,” said Shubhi Mishra, CEO of Raft.

Raft Chief Technology Office Bhaarat Sharma added:

“With Jeanmarie leading operations, we are providing more structure and focus to develop and enhance our technical offerings so they can rapidly scale to meet the demand and continue to innovate for our customers.”
