The finalists for WashingtonExec’s 2023 Pinnacle Awards were announced Sept. 25, and we’ll be highlighting some of them until the event takes place live, in-person Nov. 16.
Next is Ravi Raghava, vice president of cloud solutions at SAIC, who’s a finalist for the Cloud Executive of the Year, Private & Public Companies category. Here, he shares his key accomplishments and what made him successful in his role.
What key achievements did you have in 2023?
In 2023, I led my outstanding cross-functional team in securing numerous strategic opportunities in cloud transformation and Artificial Intelligence (AI), positioning us as a leader in digital transformation solutions through 2024 and beyond.
Our approach involves the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, streamlining processes and bringing enhanced security, cost and performance efficiencies to our valued customers.
It is an honor to provide our customers with innovative solutions to protect our nation, in a quotidian efficiency.
What has made you successful in your current role?
In my current role as a digital transformation leader, I lead cloud transformation solutions that have demonstrated a positive impact on the company and our customers. My ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is a key factor that has contributed to the success of my team.
I have successfully built relationships with government stakeholders, industry vendors and partners by communicating the value of next-generation solutions and trends in the areas of cloud, cyber and AI across the enterprise.
I believe in 3Cs – “Contribute, Collaborate and Communicate”. Deeper engagement with my team and peers has resulted in increased productivity and supported a positive organizational culture.
