    Allison Patrick, SAIC

    Allison Patrick

    Vice President, Homeland Security, SAIC

Allison Patrick and her team are very proud of the work they do to support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection as the agency responds to the humanitarian crisis at the border, every day. SAIC is continuously seeking to deliver solutions that deliver data in a simplified manner to support those standing on the border.

SAIC’s team was recently honored with an award for embodying core values, mission focus, diversity, collaboration and innovation in support of touchless fingerprints, she said.

“Whether we’re delivering solutions at a border crossing, or a mobile solution in the field, I get energized seeing the technology transfer from SAIC’s Innovation Factories to our programs and into practice,” Patrick said. “That’s what being in the GovCon space is really about: serving the mission.”

Additionally, Patrick’s team has grown its presence in the DHS Science and Technology Directorate, where emerging solutions are informing future opportunity for SAIC.

    Why Watch

This year, SAIC will further bridge the data gap at DHS. Patrick emphasizes the synergies between SAIC’s work at CBP and opportunities in other immigration-related components, highlighting the commonality in collected data. This aligns with SAIC’s core AI capabilities, which empower humans with a centralized data science platform, allowing non-technical users to become highly technical.

“Allison is focused on both the tactics and the strategy,” said Mike Mazzella, senior vice president of Civilian Business Unit at SAIC. “Ensuring our DHS customers continuously receive the best of SAIC’s innovation and ingenuity, while also looking at a three-year strategy, is daunting. But Allison leads a dynamic team to accomplish both.”
