John Woods
Vice President & DHS Client Executive, CACI
Over the last year, John Woods bolstered CACI’s strong ties with the Department of Homeland Security and played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s business with this key government client. Besides steering notable revenue growth over the past five years, Woods ensures client trust and helps guarantee mission and contract success.
Woods, bringing 28 years as a federal agent to his role at CACI since 2017, leverages his extensive experience and understanding of DHS to address its objectives and challenges. He collaborates closely with the customer to enhance the use and deployment of advanced technology, such as AI, dark web analysis, and open-source intelligence analytics tools. Among the tools used is CACI’s DarkBlue Intelligence Platform, a cloud-based tool that enables analysts to explore and analyze vital data across the dark and deep web, tackling threats at home and abroad.
“As DHS seeks to evolve how it confronts emerging threats by converting raw data into actionable insights, CACI’s technology offers a significant advantage over adversaries and threats and delivers better data-driven decision-making,” said Woods. “We are in the business of solving complex national security problems for our customers by providing the best tools to make their mission a success.”
