Maxar Intelligence has named Dan Smoot as CEO. Daniel Jablonsky, who has been serving as interim CEO, will transition to the board of directors.
“Dan Smoot is a proven leader who brings a commercial approach to delivering innovative technology solutions for national security and other government missions, and his relentless focus on execution and operational excellence makes him well-suited to lead Maxar Intelligence in the next phase of its growth,” said Bob Hitt, chair of Maxar Intelligence board of directors.
Smoot has over 30 years of management experience, including senior executive positions at Salesforce, Cisco and VMWare. Most recently, he served as CEO of Riverbed Technology.

- Anat Gan Eden, Chief Human Resources Officer
- Will Cocos, Chief Transformation Officer
