Accenture Federal Services has appointed Viveca Pavon-Harr as chief data scientist, responsible for advising the company’s federal sector clients on emerging data trends, research and solutions.
Pavon-Harr will lead data science integration and delivery across the company’s accounts, shaping data science market opportunities and leading talent staffing.
Pavon-Harr formerly served as AFS’s Applied Intelligence Discovery Lab lead. She will continue to perform that role, guiding a team of more than 75 data scientists, engineers and visualization specialists.

Pavon-Harr has extensive experience applying data science to enable predictive capabilities, data visualization and rapid prototyping of machine learning and artificial intelligence. She has also published on various aspects of AI /ML and Geographic Information System.
