    Aimee George Leary

Executive Vice President & Global Talent Officer , Booz Allen Hamilton

Aimee George Leary has been with Booz Allen for over two decades, working on projects that attract top talent. Lately, her focus has shifted to improving workplace culture and employee happiness. Her efforts are paying off: The company’s employee turnover rate is lower than the industry average, even during the “great resignation” period. Employee retention has improved by over 2.5% compared to last year. A recent survey also indicates Booz Allen is outperforming industry standards in making employees feel valued, supported and on track to meet their career goals.

Today, George Leary is focused on activating a modernized culture, what that means for over 32,000 employees and how the company’s teams interact in the new hybrid world. This work intentionally builds and drives a culture that reinforces strategic objectives and models the behaviors that will grow Booz Allen’s business.

“As we navigate a hybrid work environment, culture is more important than ever,” she said. “Intentionally building and driving a culture that reinforces our connectedness, well-being, career growth and flexibility creates an environment where people feel valued and can provide value.”

    Why Watch

“Aimee consistently brings bold thinking and innovative solutions to provide a compelling value proposition for our talent and an inclusive culture where everyone is empowered to change the world,” said Betty Thompson, executive vice president and chief people officer at Booz Allen.
