Frontier Technology Inc. has promoted Jose Hidalgo to president, and after five years of driving growth as the company’s chief financial officer, he will now oversee day-to-day operations.

“In his time as FTI’s CFO, Jose has shown exceptional management skills in understanding our customers and our people, driving growth, and shaping our go-forward strategy,” said Ron Shroder, chairman and CEO of Frontier Technology Inc.

“Under his leadership as president, FTI will attain new levels of customer connection, technical innovation and growth—all while our company’s unique, values-driven culture continues to thrive.”

Hidalgo first joined FTI in 2018 from Sierra Nevada Corp., where he was vice president of accounting and treasury. Before that, he was the corporate controller at Longview International Technology Solutions.

“I am lucky to work with such a great group of people at FTI who are all 100% behind the men and women safeguarding our nation every day,” he said. “It’s my honor to lead this company as we provide our customers with the deep mission expertise and advance tech-enabled services they need to make the best high-stakes decisions possible. The defense industry is always evolving, and FTI will always be ready to meet the moment.”
