Chief Marketing Officer, Maxar
Colleen Campbell led Maxar’s marketing and communications team through an abundance of change, including going from a public company to a private company, integration of two strategic acquisitions and increased demand for Maxar’s solutions during the conflict in Ukraine.
“I am incredibly proud of how the Communications and Marketing Organization (CMO), continues to meet increased demand and need to demonstrate Maxar’s leading capabilities for our global customers and purpose partners,” Campbell said. “The strength of our brand and growth of our worldwide commercial and government markets fuels our team’s strategic and creative energy. I believe that is why we are so well positioned for future success.”
Maxar introduced the Maxar Geospatial Platform, a user-friendly tool for customers and the public to access and purchase their analytic and imagery solutions. The company also added the Maxar 300 and 500 series to its spacecraft range, giving more choices for commercial and government space missions. Additionally, Maxar offers non-Earth imaging services to other commercial satellite operators for improved spacecraft durability and awareness of space conditions.
Campbell and her team are preparing to launch new climate and environmental analysis tools from Maxar later this year. Maxar will continue to support humanitarian organizations and news outlets during conflicts with its data and analysis. Furthermore, Maxar will remain committed to its corporate social responsibility actions, working with the Maxar Foundation to support military families, veterans, and STEM initiatives.
“Maxar is well known globally for our industry-leading geospatial and space infrastructure solutions,” said Maxar CEO Dan Jablonsky. “Colleen’s vision and integrated marketing strategy continues to progress our business objectives. The marketing and communications organization plays a key role in advancing our reputation and ensuring that customers know that Maxar is the best mission partner committed to our customers’ success.”
