    Stephanie Ambrose

Senior Vice President Marketing and Communications, Koniag Government Services

In January, Stephanie Ambrose took charge of the Koniag Government Services marketing and communications team. She plans to completely renew KGS’s brand, its way of communicating and its overall marketing strategy.

While the company embarks on its journey to become a $1 billion enterprise, Ambrose remains committed to preserving KGS’s culture and fostering employee engagement. She aims to ensure the company’s mission, values and heritage as an Alaska Native Corporation remain at the forefront of the brand.

A major part of Ambrose’s plan is to enhance the company’s online presence. She leads the redesign of KGS’s website, aiming to engage stakeholders and reflect KGS’s brand identity more effectively. The updated website will showcase KGS’s unique skills and expertise, ensuring a smooth experience for visitors.

    Why Watch

With a keen eye for detail, Ambrose has worked on refining messaging, value proposition, strengthening the company’s LinkedIn presence and updating essential collateral. Looking ahead, she’s preparing to expand her team and initiate an ambitious website redesign project in the latter half of 2023.

“Stephanie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the government contracting arena and ANCs in particular,” said Kevin Wideman, KGS CEO. “She is the right person to lead KGS’s marketing and communications function during this time of rapid growth.”
