J&J Worldwide Services announced the successful transition of operations and maintenance services supporting the 48th Medical Group at Royal Air Force Base Lakenheath in the U.K.

J&J was awarded the 4-year recompete task order contract through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center. The base period of performance supports all designated outlying medical treatment facilities, including those located at RAF Feltwell, Mildenhall, Alconbury and Croughton.

“J&J has been providing O&M services for the RAF Lakenheath since 2019. We are honored to continue our partnership with DHA, the 48th MDG, and the UK Ministry of Defence,” said J&J Worldwide Services CEO and President Steve Kelley. “We are excited to be a part of the 48th MDG’s critical mission to provide primary and specialty health care services which support the combat capability of the 48th Fighter Wing, 100th Air Refueling Wing, 501st Combat Support Wing, and 352nd Special Operations Wing.”

This task order is part of the multiple-award task order contract to provide specialized medical facilities operations and maintenance services to support the U.S. Army Medical Command, the Air Force Medical Support Agency, the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery and the Defense Health Agency at various locations.
