CSA announced a strategic partnership with Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic to focus on Operation Dream Maker, an initiative to actualize the dreams of children whose families are serving in the military, are in reserves or have served as veterans.
As part of the partnership, CSA’s 2023 goal was to fulfill two dreams. So far, CSA and its employees have raised over $45,000 to grant three wishes to Charlotte, Emma and Jackson.
“Corporate responsibility is about understanding the role we play in society and the impact we can make on the lives around us,” said Amy Bleken, CEO of CSA.
“As a business, we have a unique position to uplift and empower the communities we serve. This partnership is our way of giving back to the military families who give so much to us and the country we love. We are building bridges of empathy, gratitude and support, and we do this through the beautiful wishes we help grant and the dreams that come true. That’s our commitment. That’s our responsibility.”
CSA employees are the core of this partnership’s success. During the company’s 2023 Summer of Giving campaign, CSA encouraged employees to participate by creating regional teams with monetary goals. The company’s executive leadership also played a hands-on role and further emphasized CSA’s commitment to positive societal impact.
“Thank you to CSA’s support of our military wish families,” said Lesli Creedon, Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic president and CEO. “$45,000 toward Operation Dream Maker is going to move the needle on how quickly we can grant some of these deserving and brave children their life-transforming wish. The success of your CSA’s employee giving campaign surpassed any we have ever done ⏤ and is now a model we are using to engage other companies.”
