Accenture Federal Services has announced Laura Kurup as principal director of data science innovation, effective Sept. 11.
“I’m deeply motivated by mission-driven work in the federal sector,” Kurup said.”I love connecting people across the federal government with ideas and solutions they can leverage to better deliver on their mission. That’s why I’m so excited to join Accenture Federal Services, as it’s a company that sets the standard in playing that role of connector.”
Kurup brings over 10 years of data and analytics experience to the role, where she will support the company’s federal clients with artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science technologies.
Prior to Accenture, Kurup was chief data and analytics officer for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and chief strategy and innovation officer for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
