    Kelli Becker, Northrop Grumman

    Kelli Becker

Head of Communications, Space Systems Sector, Northrop Grumman

Kelli Becker has spent over 20 years at Northrop Grumman across corporate and business communications, customer and community engagement, media and public relations, brand management, and employee and executive communications.

Her team is excited by the challenge and opportunity of bringing the brand and the story of the business to a wide range of audiences, with a focus on advancing thought leadership that drives the conversation around hot topics impacting the industry.

There are several major milestones and opportunities recently to tell amazing stories of innovation, technology leadership, and the capabilities that are shaping the future of national security ⏤ from air to space and beyond.

From the successful launch of the James Webb Space Telescope and resulting science that is shaping the nation’s understanding of the universe, to the launches that are making history for missions such as Artemis ⏤ these are all major moments for Northrop Grumman and the industry that Becker and her team have had the honor of communicating to decision makers and technology enthusiasts worldwide.

“Kelli’s leadership, strategic counsel, and ability to thrive in an ever-changing market has made her a fantastic advocate of Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector, which has been the company’s fastest growing business,” said Lucy Ryan, corporate vice president of communications at Northrop Grumman.

“She has been at the forefront of showcasing our technology leadership through thoughtful storytelling that illustrates how we are defining possible for our customers, and ultimately, our nation.”

    Why Watch

Today, as head of communications for Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems sector, Becker leads a diverse and talented team of communicators in telling the story of how Northrop Grumman defines possible in space.

This year, her team is focused on integrated storytelling around the company’s vision for the future of space and national security ⏤ from the importance of resilient, multi-layered space architectures to technological advances that enable connectivity and make space more sustainable ⏤ as well as the highly skilled workforce that makes it all possible.

Northrop Grumman’s audiences are inspired by its strong legacy in space across civil, commercial and national security missions, and Becker’s team will continue to find new and interesting ways to share the impact of the space portfolio through a range of channels, including those that reach the next-generation leaders we need for the future space workforce.

“With the incredible growth we’ve experienced in Northrop Grumman’s space business ⏤ and with the world’s attention on a rapidly changing space domain ⏤ we are passionate about taking each unique opportunity to shine a light on the cutting-edge technologies and critical missions that our more than 29,000 space employees are enabling every day,” Becker said.
