    Brad Mascho, Empower AI

    Brad Mascho

Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, Empower AI

When Brad Mascho first joined NCI in 2018 as the chief artificial intelligence officer, AI was still early in the government space. Fast forward five years, and AI is at the forefront of Empower AI’s customers’ minds.

“I’m proud to have been part of the company’s transformation into a genuine AI thought leader,” Mascho said. “I’m also very proud that we have positioned Empower AI with real solutions that solve real problems.”

Mascho often speaks about how the company isn’t changing the work it does but rather, changing how it does its work. Building on decades of program expertise and adding the differentiator of AI allows Empower AI to achieve more for its customers.

“At the end of the day, there is nothing more important than helping our customers achieve their missions,” Mascho said.

    Why Watch

Empower AI spent much of the first half of the year refining its message and deepening thought leadership on AI. The emergence of ChatGPT and other large language models created a new sense of AI urgency in the industry. This year has been about increasing engagement, internally and externally, and using all the significant AI knowledge and experience the company developed over the past few years.

It has also been a year of firsts as new leaders came into the company with new visions for the future.

“It’s exciting to be part of this next chapter at Empower AI and I’m proud to be part of a company so deeply focused on our customers and their missions,” Mascho said. “I’ve always said my purpose is to fix what is broken and build what does not exist. I’m an idealist and I believe you should leave everything better than the way you found it,” he added. “Ultimately, serving the public mission is a privilege, and I strive to make a difference each day.”
