Grant McLaughlin joined Deloitte in March 2022 with a clear focus on expanding the firm’s health portfolio in two key areas. First, he’s boosting the marketing capacity for the federal health sector business by emphasizing content development, compelling storytelling and refreshing delivery channels.
Second, he’s expanding the health communication and evaluation portfolio by integrating expertise from various areas within Deloitte, including health content, PR, analytics, digital experience and artificial intelligence, with the goal of enhancing communication messaging, increasing user adoption and ultimately improving health outcomes.

In 2023, McLaughlin and his colleagues are focused on strengthening Deloitte’s reputation as a trusted advisor to government and nonprofit health clients. They will focus on engaging Deloitte employees to tell compelling stories, using visual elements effectively and brand ambassador technology, to share the Deloitte brand and attract the best talent to the firm.
“In my career, I’ve had the privilege of working on meaningful projects, such as enhancing HIV/AIDS drug supply chains in Africa, modeling diabetes incidence/prevalence rates in the Middle East and combating mental health stigma among U.S. active-duty military and veterans,” McLaughlin said. “I take immense pride in the collaborative efforts of the teams I’ve worked with and the significant achievements we’ve accomplished.”
