Maureen Stevens
Vice President of Marketing, Intelsat
Maureen Stevens helped raise the profile of Intelsat in a dynamic, “new space” market environment. Since the company’s founding six decades ago, Intelsat has served satellite communications and the planet.
This year marked a transformation for Intelsat with a new CEO and management team, financial stability, a return to growth after a decade, and a heightened focus on diversity, inclusion and corporate responsibility.
As part of this transformation, Stevens and her team are elevating the awareness of Intelsat as a company that helps save and improve lives. Earlier this year, they launched a high-profile brand campaign, including a mix of owned and paid media, sponsored content articles, programmatic digital ads and airport and train station advertising to raise brand awareness, reach customer decision-makers and provide support for business development teams.
To date, the campaign has delivered over 34 million impressions and 158,000 clicks across all channels and is driving traffic to Intelsat’s digital platforms as well as generating leads.
“Maureen and her team are doing a great job spearheading efforts to ensure our stakeholders understand all the innovation and value our talented workforce consistently delivers to help address the challenges of today and tomorrow,” said Clay McConnell, senior vice president of communications and marketing at Intelsat.
Why Watch
In 2023, Stevens and her team are heavily focused on sharing the “Next First” series of stories of innovation and social impact. These interesting narratives and videos highlight how Intelsat provides connectivity to emergency responders in the aftermath of natural disasters; connecting its forces and allies to meet critical mission needs; and enhancing economic development by enabling people in rural, underserved regions to connect and engage.
“I’m proud of our amazing team for everything they do every day to passionately promote how Intelsat is leading the digital transformation of our industry for the benefit of our customers,” Stevens said.
