Zac Gorrell’s biggest recent achievement was leading his prior company, Synaptech, through the acquisition process during 2022 and facilitating the successful integration of Synaptech into LMI during the first half of this year.
As the CEO and cofounder of Synaptech, Gorrell built the company from the ground up, growing it into a thriving company of approximately 60 full-time engineers and scientists in the Colorado Springs, Colo., area. Synaptech focused on becoming one of the top technical solution providers and trusted partners in the national security space industry.

His team delivers innovative software and analytical solutions at scale that focus on the protect and defend mission. Their work ensures that space warfighters make key decisions with confidence, speed and clarity. They will leverage LMI’s extensive capabilities and expanded resources for even greater outcomes for customers like the Space Warfighting Analysis Center, Space Training and Readiness Command, National Reconnaissance Office and U.S. Space Command.
