Vice President, Programs & Operations, Peraton

As the operations lead for Peraton’s newly formed Defense Mission and Health Solutions sector, Mike Danick stepped up to not only keep the train on the tracks but maintain the momentum generated from the previous year.

In 2022, Peraton combined two of its sectors to create the Defense Mission and Health Solutions sector. This change was to improve efficiency, optimize personnel and provide better solutions to customers’ challenges. The sector now covers public health support in the U.S. and globally, as well as defense programs across more than 300 contracts, ranging from sea to space.

Danick said the team’s biggest recent achievement was creating a high-performing organization dedicated to delivering services and solutions critical to customers’ missions.

    Why Watch

In 2023, Danick and the team are heavily focused on operationalizing the strengths and discriminators inherent in this new function of the organization.

“Execution and growth are intrinsically connected. By aligning our actions and contractual obligations to our customer’s mission, we are able to establish a firm foundation for growth,” he said.

“Mike has been integral to Peraton’s success after the acquisitions over the past two years,” said Jeremy Wensinger, chief operations officer at Peraton. “His leadership and operational talents have led to the success of the company in many areas.  Mike is a proven industry executive, and I am honored to have Mike as part of Peraton and our success.”
