The U.S. Transportation Command Strategic Plans, Policy and Logistics Directorate awarded LMI with a 5-year, $15 million contract to continue supporting the Strategy, Strategic Engagement, Concepts and Wargames program.

“LMI is uniquely qualified and positioned to continue maturing USTRANSCOM’s SSECW,” said Jon Baba, senior vice president of LMI’s defense market. “For over a decade, our team of trusted innovators’ effective solutions have shaped critical decisions, enhanced strategic planning, and improved joint deployment readiness among our military services.”

LMI has supported USTRANSCOM for over 18 years. Under this contract, LMI will help USTRANSCOM with strategic guidance and planning, concept development and maturation, process and method development, and joint combatant command service-led wargames.

LMI will also support the USTRANSCOM’s newest mission, Global Bulk Fuel Management and Distribution. This includes planning, execution and after-action activities of global bulk fuel wargames. The goal is to optimize lifecycle system performance, availability and sustainment.
