Empower AI has appointed Jim Rittinger as general counsel and corporate secretary.

“The intersection of technology and government contracting has become increasingly complex, and Jim will play a critical role for Empower AI,” said Jeff Bohling, CEO of Empower AI.

“Jim’s leadership and extensive knowledge of the industry will help us deliver for our customers and our employees on mission-critical programs.”

Rittinger has 30 years of experience as a practicing attorney. In his new role, he will oversee all company legal and corporate governance activities.

“I am excited for the opportunity to join the Empower AI team, at a time where technology is playing such an important, transformative role in our government and their many missions,” Rittinger said. “I look forward to serving the business and providing legal solutions that support our customers and employees in the important work they do for the nation.”

Rittinger most recently served as chief legal officer at MFGS, Inc., where he oversaw the legal, contracts, security, corporate development, human resources and compliance departments.

He has also held senior legal and general counsel roles at Micro Focus International, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Dell Services Federal Government and Perot Systems.
