Executive Vice President and Manager, Air and Space Technologies Sector, Infoscitex, a DCS Corp.
Under Michael Gilkey’s leadership, Infoscitex recently won Air Force Research Laboratory prime contracts, establishing a lead role in weapon systems effectiveness analysis across air, space, ground and surface domains through the modeling of synthetic environments and application of battlespace analytics.
“The ability to simulate the operation of complex, highly interoperable weapon systems in multi-domain, contested environments has proven to be a powerful tool to accelerate the development of next generation defensive capability,” Gilkey said.
“This approach is naturally aligned with the DOD’s digital enterprise initiatives. I’m proud that IST is playing an important role in the development of these frameworks, the building of representative models and scenarios, and application of data analytics to answer pivotal questions that support the acquisition of new war-winning capability.”
In 2023, Gilkey and his team are focused on strengthening space analysis capability by working with DOD and the intelligence communities to expand modeling of space elements, improving simulation fidelity and application of advanced analysis tools.
“Mike has been an incredible driver of IST’s growth and success for more than a decade,” said Jim Benbow, CEO at DCS Corp. “We are thrilled to have him continue to advance the technology and momentum of IST into the future.”
