Renovus Capital Partners announced April 27 that Damian DiPippa will be the new CEO of Aretum, LLC, its government services platform.
With extensive experience in the government services industry, DiPippa was previously the CEO of Arcfield and led the transformation of an acquired portfolio of programs into a $500 million revenue company with operations in both domestic and international markets.
“We are extremely pleased that Damian will lead Aretum,” said Atif Gilani, founding partner at Renovus Capital. “His in-depth knowledge and experience in the government services sector is invaluable, and will enable him to carry out our shared vision for Aretum.”
DiPippa expressed his enthusiasm for leading Aretum on its journey to become a new mid-tier provider of mission support, enabled by technology, for defense, homeland security and civilian agencies.
“The combination of our legacy companies provides a very high level of competitiveness and excellence within our core competencies of engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and financial services,” he said. “We are extremely well-positioned with Renovus as our partner to execute on our ambitious goals.”
Prior to his tenure at Arcfield, DiPippa was the president of the Systems Engineering Sector at Peraton, where he spearheaded an initiative that led to the successful divestiture of over $500 million in conflicted contracts. Before that, he was the senior VP and general manager of the Intelligence Group at Perspecta (a Peraton predecessor), where he oversaw a business worth $900 million.
DiPippa also held senior leadership positions at organizations such as ManTech, Engility, TASC and Northrop Grumman. In these roles, he developed and executed multiyear growth strategies, resulting in pipelines of new opportunities worth over $4 billion. He also led contract wins across several federal agencies, such as the departments of Defense, Homeland Security and Transportation.
Aretum is the third Renovus platform in the government service space. It owns owns Miracle Systems and Panum Telecom.
