With over 30 years of IT experience and as FDA’s CIO in the Office of Digital Transformation, Vid Desai leads the agency’s IT strategy, enterprise IT, data management and cybersecurity. His office oversees all FDA IT spending of over $750 million.
One of Desai’s biggest, most recent achievements was the successful development of an enterprise approach to IT, data and cybersecurity modernization. Developing the foundation for this important work while also cultivating a culture of collaboration and confidence for successful outcomes has been truly remarkable, Desai said.
