The finalists for WashingtonExec’s Chief Officer Awards were announced March 17, and we’ll be highlighting some of them until the event takes place live, in-person May 10.

Next is Chief Growth Officer finalist in the Private Company: >$500M category Larry Frazier, chief strategy officer for Iron Bow Technologies. Here, he talks success in his current role, proud organizational moments and more.

What key achievements did you have in 2022 / 2023?

It has been a huge year for Iron Bow, with the company going from a little less than $1 billion to $1.6 billion in revenue. Over the past year, I’ve been focused on establishing Iron Bow’s key strategic initiatives that led to this unprecedented growth for 2022-23: Introducing key technology pillars ⏤ IT modernization, digital transformation, workforce experience and cybersecurity, establishing a brand new chief strategy office and chief technology office, working in conjunction with our amazing CMO Sarah Kim, to establish and identify a go-to-market brand that led to both a growth of brand awareness and revenue.

In addition to my accomplishments at Iron Bow, over the past year my personal life has also seen growth, successfully completing the adoption of two little girls!

What has made you successful in your current role?

Success in my current role has been incredibly dependent on working and teaming with strategic leaders and departments across all of Iron Bow and working together toward common goals for growth, paired with 21+ years of military service that instilled a drive and discipline for success. Additionally, utilizing my resources, great mentors, leaders and my family.

What are you most proud of having been a part of in your current organization?

Building and working with the best team of my corporate career. I am motivated by the work ethic at Iron Bow and our Iron Bow Mantra: “Customer first and mutual respect for everyone.”
