Accenture Federal Services has launched a Federal Generative AI Center of Excellence to help the government realize the possibilities of artificial intelligence technology.

The Center of Excellence will serve as an immersive hub to design prototypes, scale pre-built solutions and accelerators, and apply generative AI models to mission-critical challenges federal agencies face.

“Generative AI has captured the world’s attention faster than any other recent technology. But how people are using it right now is just the beginning,” said AFS CEO John Goodman. “We can already see that this technology is poised to shape the future of science, enterprise data, and how we design and deliver solutions for federal missions.”

The company has also launched a suite of generative AI tools, which adapt Language Learning Models and foundation models to specific federal use cases.

Accenture Federal Services collaborates closely with Accenture’s Generative AI and LLM Center of Excellence, adapting its generative AI capabilities for commercial and public sector clients to accelerate transformation for federal missions.

“Generative AI and foundation models embedded into the federal agency digital core can optimize tasks, augment human capabilities, and create an entirely new language for enterprise reinvention,” said AFS Generative AI Lead Michael Thieme.

“Our team is excited to help federal leaders navigate this technology inflection point and manage its risks in a cost-effective way,” Thieme said. “We look forward to partnering with federal leaders to explore use cases, rapidly prototype solutions, and deliver responsible, trustworthy solutions to meet the unique needs of the federal government.”
