    Adam Tucker, BAE Systems.

    Adam Tucker

Vice President, Safety, Health & Environment, BAE Systems, Inc.

Adam Tucker brings nearly 25 years of experience in safety, health and environmental leadership to BAE Systems, Inc. His expertise extends to change management, strategic planning and execution, team development and facility compliance.

To meet the growing challenge of climate change, Tucker has led BAE Systems’ significant progress toward achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions across the company’s operations by 2030 and its value chain by 2050.

“Finding that natural confluence of what’s good for climate, communities, customers, and the business is key to advancing the ball,” he said.

With the understanding that every employee can contribute to good energy stewardship, Tucker recently coordinated a partnership with Energy Star to complete its Battle of the Buildings campaign. Over the month-long competition to engage and educate the company’s workforce about environmental, social and corporate governance, employees logged over 12,500 energy reduction actions.

    Why Watch

This year, Tucker and his team are focused on executing energy efficiency projects and a renewable energy portfolio to continue advancing BAE Systems’ commitments to net zero. That includes leveraging the company’s ability to develop innovative technologies to meet customer needs driven by their climate commitments. Tucker and his team are also working with industry partners to address the unique impacts decarbonization poses to the aerospace and defense sector.
