
Former U.S. Army Chief Information Officer Raj Iyer has joined ServiceNow in the newly created role of global head of public sector.
Iyer was the Armyâs first-ever civilian CIO and managed a $16 billion annual IT budget and led global digital transformation efforts. He brings over 30 years of experience to ServiceNow in technology and business transformation leadership in public and private sectors.

A 2022 WashingtonExec Pinnacle Award winner for Cloud Government Executive of the Year, Iyer announced his Army departure in January.
In his new role, Iyer will expand ServiceNowâs global public sector strategy and lead the growth of markets across the global public sector. Heâll focus on Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the U.K. and the U.S. Iyer will scale ServiceNowâs strategy and capabilities to meet the needs of regulated markets around the world.
