Darlene Coen has joined CGI Federal as a director and acquisition strategy lead in the company’s Consulting, Applications, Solutions and Technology practice.

With 43 years of experience across the public and private sectors, Coen brings strategic leadership to CGI Federal’s client-focused mission.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Coen to CGI Federal,” said Kenyon Wells, CGI Federal Senior vice-president and CAST business unit lead.

“Ms. Coen’s deep experience and consultative approach to acquisitions across the Federal landscape will enhance strategic partnership with federal acquisition professionals, both existing customers and prospective customers.”

In this role, Coen will lead strategic development; identify and eliminate potential obstacles and barriers to federal acquisitions support and services; and create more opportunities to generate and retain business by bridging a common understanding of customer needs across CGI offerings.

“To strengthen acquisition strategy, I view the role as a business advisor, educator and mediator,” Coen said. “I build discussions to educate, train, and build bridges between the public and private sector so that our clients can best envision, build and run forward with their critical missions.”
