John Heller

CEO, Amentum

Under John Heller’s leadership, PAE was successfully integrated into One Amentum, aligning the company for success and the recent rollout of its growth strategy.

When Heller joined Amentum in March 2022, the company had just doubled in size. To promote growth, the company has created three business groups that use current and expanding capabilities to provide innovation and the best value for customers. Amentum is now positioned to grow in its core, adjacent and new emerging markets.

Today, Amentum is a leader in global engineering, project management and solutions integration and is trusted to modernize and support the most critical missions and systems anywhere in the world now and in the future.

Why Watch

“From countering national threats from unmanned systems to remote platform tele-maintenance, the Amentum team is stronger and more focused than ever on engineering, infrastructure, energy and intelligence modernization to maintain our government’s global competitive edge and to solve what’s next,” Heller said.

Heller’s focus for 2023 is to leverage Amentum’s strengths to stand out in the market and figure out how the company can scale its engineering solutions and global agility to make the world safer, smarter and cleaner. The company wants to protect its core and grow in adjacent and emerging markets such as:

  • Engineering modernization to maintain an edge, whether on the battlefield, in space or protecting U.S. citizens and the economy.
  • Infrastructure modernization to improve cost efficiencies and performance.
  • Environment and energy solutions to give the U.S. the energy efficiency advantage and reduce the nation’s carbon footprint.
  • Data intelligence and analytics for decision advantage across all domains.
