Ken Riordan, a principal architect at Nokia Federal, has been named to the National Spectrum Consortium’s Executive Committee.

This 3-year position is elected from across the 400+ NSC member organizations. Riordan will serve as a representative of large, non-traditional companies from January 2023 to December 2025.

“The NSC has proven itself to be a vital force in connecting government with industry and academia,” he said. “I look forward to continuing that cause as an Executive Committee member.”

The NSC Executive Committee helps the consortium in its efforts to advance the development of next-generation electromagnetic spectrum technologies by collaborating with industry, academia and government agencies.

Riordan has over 20 years in the telecom industry. He has developed products for mobile devices and network equipment, and worked to launch networks that span the full history of cellular communications standards, like LTE and 5G.

He currently is the president of the HAPS Alliance. He has held board positions at the Executive Board of the Small Cell Forum and served as Technical Committee chair and forum vice-chair for the Wireless Innovation Forum.
