Executive Vice President & Global Talent Officer, Booz Allen Hamilton

With more than 20 years’ experience in the talent space, Aimee George Leary leads Booz Allen’s integrated talent management strategy and corporate communications. Her work increases the depth, breadth, and diversity of the firm’s global talent pipeline, and drives hiring and retention of top talent, and generates momentum with the employee base around key initiatives.

Most recently, George Leary and her team established the Technical Talent System and unified five traditionally separate components into one platform to empower employees, advance innovation and equity, and evolve as the firm grows. This new framework enabled the firm to increase its capability hires to over 35% in fiscal year 2022, building a talent pipeline to support growth and quickly respond to important client missions.

“Aimee has been instrumental to transforming our talent strategy and positioning us for growth,” said Betty Thompson, executive vice president and chief people officer at Booz Allen.

    Why Watch

Moving forward, George Leary and her team are focused on culture and Booz Allen’s unique value proposition: Empowering employees at all stages of their careers. The talent strategy aims to help employees find their careers; leaders to discover new talent; and all parties to engage, share and build relationships in an inclusive environment to increase their personal and professional development.

“Our goal is to increase empowerment and maintain what made us special: a culture that provides a breadth of options to fit anyone’s career and goals,” she said. “As we keep working on this, it’s exciting to know that what we’re doing helps make this experience better for everyone.”
