This past year, Susan Balaguer’s biggest achievement has been building the HR leadership team with recognized experts focused on areas that make a difference at Parsons.
Those include a new talent acquisition leader instrumental in delivering record hiring results since her arrival; a new benefits leader focused on streamlining and harmonizing benefit offerings designed to attract and retain talent; and an employee experience leader with a strong change management and communication background leading the effort to enhance the employee experience. These members, together with an already strong HR team, have been successful in delivering HR services to customers and enhanced programs for employees.

In 2022, Balaguer’s HR team is heavily focused on enhancing the employee/candidate experience by improving processes, creating new employee wellbeing policies and programs to allow for more flexibility and choice for employees and highlighting employee value proposition throughout the employment life cycle.
The team also has renewed focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. Building on Parsons’ successful DEI program, Balaguer is excited the company has hired a very experienced leader who will enhance and drive DEI strategy and take Parsons to the next level.
