Cyber Operations & Cybersecurity Strategic Account Executive, Leidos
Thomas P. Michelli works across the company’s business groups to align, enhance and increase the effectiveness of Leidos’ cyber-related portfolio of programs, services, solutions and investments. Michelli also serves as the 2021-2022 WashingtonExec Cybersecurity Council Chair.
Michelli works across all of Leidos’ groups — intelligence, defense, civil, health and dynetics. He coordinates with business, operations and chief technology leaders to increase the company’s leadership in full spectrum cyber by going beyond compliance in defensive cyber operations and cutting edge offensive cyber operations on enterprise systems and cyber-physical systems.
One of Michelli’s biggest achievements is working in collaboration with the Leidos Cyber Accelerator in forwarding and fielding full spectrum cyber capabilities from internal research and development initiatives.

Why Watch
In the coming year, Leidos will continue to focus on improving and growing Leidos’ leadership role in defensive cyber operations for the U.S. government. The company and its cyber team operate five of the largest federal security operations centers and six cyber security service providers for the Defense Department. They will also increase growth and capabilities in Leidos’ strong offensive cyber operations — building off of investment in Attack and Exploitation Laboratory.

One example that takes our cyber talent to the next level — Leidos has initiated a cyber upskilling program and established a CyberEdge Academy.”
