    Tricia Fitzmaurice

Regional Vice President, Civilian and National Security Programs, UiPath

Under Tricia Fitzmaurice’s leadership, UiPath is accelerating national security on the mission level through the implementation of robotic process automation.

Fitzmaurice leads her team in tailoring UiPath’s automation capabilities to benefit federal civilian and national security program customers. By providing the ability to automate time-consuming and labor-intensive tasks in the national security space, agents and analysts on the ground are freed up to apply their expertise to mission advancement.

“Tricia is a key leader at UiPath who is helping more agencies drive efficiencies and transform digitally with the power of automation,” said Christopher Townsend, vice president of public sector at UiPath. “Her knowledge, experience and determination are an inspiration for her clients and colleagues alike, and I’m inspired by her ability to deliver significant and meaningful results for federal agencies using the UiPath platform.”

Bringing RPA’s functions from the back office to the mission level has been a huge achievement for Fitzmaurice and her team.

“We’ve only scratched the surface,” she said. “The government has started to truly harness the power of automation, and the need to apply it to supporting national security missions is more apparent than ever given the current global environment. Anything we can do to find efficiencies that enable individuals to focus on more high-value tasks is where my team is applying its efforts.”

    Why Watch

In 2022, Fitzmaurice plans to further grow UiPath’s use cases in various areas by bringing in the discussion on artificial intelligence, seeking to help democratize it through UiPath’s automation platform for a broader community of users. She also envisions increasing UiPath’s capabilities across government agency departments, such as IT, finance and accounting, contact center, quality assurance/testing, HR and legal.

“My entire career has been dedicated to supporting national security efforts,” Fitzmaurice said. “I find immense purpose in it. The opportunity to work at the forefront of this space through supporting critical missions with UiPath fulfills me as a citizen — especially as a patriot — as we endeavor to discover even more ways to improve federal processes through automation.”
