    Allison Patrick, SAIC

    Allison Patrick

Vice President, Programs, Department of Homeland Security, SAIC

Allison Patrick’s biggest recent achievement was joining SAIC during the pandemic to complete the integration of a new large business unit acquired at that time. COVID presented a leadership challenge to ensure customers and employees felt connected and engaged with the full power of SAIC despite the distance created by the pandemic.

Additionally, two of SAIC’s largest mission-critical programs were competed during this time. To the team’s credit, it safely advanced the agency’s readiness and concept of operations because of adaptability of working with new tools and new ways of working during the pandemic.

“I’ve always been a very hands-on leader,” Patrick said. “I’m energized by seeing deeply technical solutions being deployed with the support and interaction of our customers and the delivery team.”

    Why Watch

In 2022, Patrick and her team are heavily focused on delivering new solutions and capability to new components of the Department of Homeland Security. The integration of SAIC’s acquired capability combined with SAIC’s biometrics and data science specialties allows the company to offer DHS very unique advancement on its mission.

“It’s exciting to watch Allison return to SAIC to lead a strategic piece of our business,” said Mike Mazzella, senior vice president for SAIC’s Civilian Business Unit. “During her past tenure, Allison led our business development function. Effective leaders in the GovCon market have that combination of being able to lead the business while also building and winning new business. We’re looking forward to welcoming large new programs with new customers at DHS in 2023.”
