    Matt McQueen, Peraton

    Matt McQueen

Senior Vice President & Chief Communications & Engagement Officer, Peraton

Following a year of transformational acquisitions, Matt McQueen knew Peraton needed a world-class team to tell its story, which is why the assembly and standup of the Communications and Engagement organization is one of his greatest recent achievements.

Throughout 2021, McQueen and his team successfully balanced the needs of organizational change management to inform, engage and empower employees as the company scaled from $1 billion to over $7 billion. Few executives within the leadership team have such proximity to the pulse of each sector and its people as McQueen. Thus, his team was able to develop and unveil a One Peraton story that captures its heritage and redefines national security.

“The Communications and Engagement team is at the pointy end of the spear for Peraton and conveys our unique position in the market,” said Jeremy Wensinger, Peraton chief operating officer. “Matt serves as a guidepost to ensure our efforts align with our values, mission and stakeholders.”

    Why Watch

In 2022, McQueen and his team will continue highlighting Peraton’s diverse workforce, its tailored customer solutions, and mission successes domestically and abroad. His top priorities are to remain laser-focused on organic business growth, providing connective communications channels for employees and talent attraction.

“The corporate communications and engagement function at Peraton has evolved over the last two years to become a key component of the business enablement equation,” McQueen said. “We’re constantly focusing our efforts on outcomes — tailored communications, differentiated experiences and meaningful engagement across the entire employee lifecycle. This is the new communications paradigm for Peraton.”
