Leidos announced Mike Chagnon has been named deputy defense group president, and Tim Freeman has been named airborne solutions operations manager.
Chagnon returns to the role of deputy group president, a position he held from 2018 to 2020. He has led the airborne solutions operation since 2020.
“I’m eager to assume the role of Deputy Group President to help the Defense Group achieve new heights in 2023 and beyond,” he said. “I look forward to continuing to focus on supporting our customers’ critical missions by delivering innovative and transformative solutions across the enterprise.”
Freeman was senior vice president for business development and strategy for Leidos’ Dynetics Group since 2021, and held that same role with the defense group from 2018 to 2021.
“I’m excited to be back with the Defense Group to lead one of the most dynamic teams in the company,” he said. “With top-notch facilities and highly skilled workforce, this team delivers full-service aviation mission, support, integration, and maintenance capabilities. I look forward to leading this team as we continue to rapidly develop and acquire forward-looking, innovative solutions.”
