Bongiovanni’s biggest achievement this year was spearheading the company’s cybersecurity initiatives across the world. He said it’s exciting to be an integral part of the company’s NTT DATA Global Zero Trust Working Group that provides leading-edge cybersecurity capabilities.
“So many great minds working together to make a difference in the world,” he said. “NTT is one of the top data center operators in the world. Roughly 40% of the world’s data travels through one of our data centers. This gives incredible insight into the who, what, where and how attacks are happening. Of course, this means that we also have the best and brightest working on protecting assets and preventing attacks.”
Bongiovanni has brought that worldwide insight together to provide practical and cost-effective measures to protect his company, clients and the U.S. critical infrastructure. Zero trust architecture, identity and access management, and endpoint management are table stakes, which is why he said he believes NTT DATA should be on the radar for anyone interested in cybersecurity in 2023.
